There are 4 different variations compared to a normal circumcision which is a mix of all 4 types. Each type gives a different cosmetic result. Below, we have written descriptions of the different types of circumcision and links to different sketched images of the types.

Please note that these images are for viewers of 18 years and over.

You will be able to discuss the method of circumcision you would like with Dr Al-Ali on the day of the circumcision.

            Normal Circumcision
The circumcision line is about one inch behind the glans (head of the penis), which is approximately equal to the length of the glans. The inner and outer skin are slightly stretched during erection, but not very tight. This means there is still some skin movement on the shaft of the penis during erection.

            High and Tight Circumcision
The circumcision line is more than 1 inch behind the glans and the inner and outer skins are more stretched during erection which means there is very little skin movement possible over the shaft when the penis is fully erected.

            High and Loose Circumcision
The circumcision line is more than 1 inch behind the glans and the inner and outer skins are not stretched during erection which means there is more skin movement possible over the shaft when the penis is fully erected.

            Low and Tight Circumcision
The circumcision line is less than 1 inch behind the glans and the inner and outer skins are more stretched during erection which means there is very little skin movement possible over the shaft when the penis is fully erected.

            Low and Loose Circumcision
The circumcision line is less than 1 inch behind the glans and the inner and outer skins are not stretched during erection which means there is more skin movement possible over the shaft when the penis is fully erected.
